Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
I chose to formula feed my first baby, but now I’m pregnant again, I’d like to give breastfeeding a go. Can you give me some advice?
First of all – congratulations on your decision. Breastfeeding will give your baby the best possible start in life, and it’s good for you too. When your baby is born, your midwife – both in hospital and at home – will give you all the practical help and support you need to get started. This will make you feel more confident. There’s additional support available from breastfeeding councillors too. Visit the NHS breastfeeding website for more information. You can visit the Breastfeeding Community website to find out about support organisations. Good luck!
